Lily Delamora Commits to Northwest Nazarene

I am excited to announce my commitment to play softball at Northwest Nazarene University. I have chosen this school and softball program for many reasons. Head Coach Rich Wagner is in his 13th year at NNU and is very dedicated to the team and program. They continue to set records each year, ranking in the top 25 at the DII level, as high as 13th last year. After meeting the coaching staff and team at a camp at NNU, it felt like a family with so much support. I also love the region, the campus and Christian based school. I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity!

I chose Sac state because when I got there I immediately felt at home. The whole coaching staff was so welcoming and nice, the campus was great, and I could really see my self there. It wasn't to far from home and they had a lot of introductions on campus activities that i was really interested in. Also the players. They were so sweet and welcoming and had nothing but good things to say about the school and program. Lastly I chose Sac state because I could tell as a program they were a family and thats what I want when coming into a new program. I want unity and family and thats exactly what they showed.

Yasmeen Sanchez Commits to UCSB

I am so excited and grateful to verbal to UC Santa Barbra to further my academic and athletic career. The education and area is what drew me into Santa Barbra but it’s the coaches and players that solidified my commitment. The coaching staff is everything I look for in a coach. From talking with the players they all emphasized on how in tune all the coaches are with the players. They push you hard to your limit only because they want to see you succeed. Coach Jo Evans emphasized on the extraordinary build up of UCSB that continues to happed each year and I knew I wanted to be apart of the process. After getting to know the coaches I knew this was a place I could safely call home. I instantly fell in love with the the environment and community that surrounds UC Santa Barbra and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Go Gauchos!
